Birthday Bash Beach Cleanup @ Cape Kiwanda/Pacific City

You are cordially invited to attend the annual BIRTHDAY BASH BEACH CLEANUP, Every year on my wife's and my own Birthday week we have dedicated our time to cleaning up the beachs we call home. We invite everyone of all ages to come enjoy the beach with us and make a huge impact on litter. This time of year ocean storms push the most trash onto our pristine beaches. Micro plastics make their way into the ocean food chain and in turn the food chain of many humans. We can make a difference by removing larger pieces of plastic from the beaches before the storms have a chance into making them microplastics.

Please remember it is winter and the weather is unpredictable. Grab a jacket a sweater and boots if you got them. We will be at Cape Kiwanda Rain or Shine.

Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: This year we will be trying to provide hot cocoa, coffee, tea as well as some trash grabbers, bags, sharps containers and some reusable gloves as always complimentary bottled water will be provided as long as bottles are recycled.

Restrooms: NEW bathrooms are available at the bottom of the parking lot at Cape kiwanda state park.

Parking: Parking is Pay To Park in Tillamook county parking lot. Passes are available at the kiosks. We will be trying to get passes available for those that cannot afford them.

Transit: Tillamook county Wave Transit

Accessibility: This area may not be easily accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
