Opportunity Details

The Great Powell Cleanup - South Tabor-52nd to 62nd Aves

Come join your neighbors from neighborhoods all along Powell Boulevard for a very special clean-up event stretching from the Willamette River all the way to I-205. We will be focusing on trash and litter removal with some light landscaping. Bring a bottle of water and come prepared for the weather, rain or shine.

Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: Volunteers will be meeting at the parking lot behind the Denture Center (address listed). Entrance is off 56th Ave near the corner of Powell Blvd.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided:

Restrooms: No public restrooms are available

Parking: The parking lot is small. Be prepared to park on the street along 56th Ave should there be no available spaces.

Transit: Trimet bus number 9 stops right across the street at SE 57th Ave & Powell Blvd. Stop ID: 11920.

Accessibility: This area may not be easily accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.

Participant Age Guidelines: Recommended for Ages 13 and Up
