I.O.O.F. Eastwood Cemetery Maintenance Event

The I.O.O.F Cemetery was founded in 1890 and is listed as a State Pioneer Cemetery and the National Register of Historic places!  Participants will be required to apply via the Medford Parks and Recreation Department.  Materials for programs can be provided by the Cemetery Administrator. Cleaning Headstones and working on cemetery plots will include oversight and training by the Medford Parks Maintenance division or the Cemetery Administrator.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: Gardening Tools - Rakes, Shovels, Gloves, Buckets, Trowels, Bags, Cleaning Tools - Brushes, Spray Bottles, Toothbrushes, Wooden Skewers

Restrooms: Although there are no restrooms on the actual site, across the street restrooms are available at Bear Creek Park.

Parking: Parking is limited by the entrance, however once the event is started, vehicles can be moved and parked on several of the roads through the cemetery.

Transit: Not available nearby

Accessibility: This area may not be easily accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.

Participant Age Guidelines: Volunteers between the ages of 13-17 may participate without an authorized adult.
