2024 Sherwood Trashpalooza! Earth Day Celebration
Celebrate Earth Day with SOLVE and the City of Sherwood. Oregon Spring Cleanup (Trashpalooza! Sherwood) will be Saturday, April 20, 2024. Meet at Cannery Square at 10:00am, each group will be given a predetermined area, go out and clean your designated area, then come back to Cannery Square at 11:30am for festivities.
We will have contests (strangest piece of trash, largest piece of trash, etc), prizes and a raffle at the end. Join us as we celebrate over 50 years of Earth Day by joining small, neighborhood and individual efforts to improve the environment this spring!
Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.
Meeting Location: Volunteers will meet at Cannery Square on the corner of Pine and Columbia Streets

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.
What's Provided: Gloves, garbage bags, safety vests, first aid kits.
Restrooms: There is a restroom at Cannery Square.
Parking: Parking is available at the Sherwood Center for the Arts (across the street from Cannery Square) and some street parking.
Transit: There is a bus stop on Railroad Ave.
Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.
Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
Participant Age Guidelines: Volunteers 13 and under must be accompanied by an authorized adult.
