NE MLK Jr. Boulevard Spring Cleanup

Litter cleanup along the NE MLK Jr. corridor starting at Irving Park, then proceeding along NE MLK from NE Fremont to NE Alberta. Options to expand 1-2 blocks east and west of NE MLK depending on volunteer turnout. Volunteers will first travel along the east side of MLK, then use the crosswalk at NE Alberta to cross to the west side. Then proceed back to Irving Park.

Advanced Registration: Is required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: Spring litter cleanup of the NE MLK Jr. corridor starting at Irving Park. Supplies and disposal provided. Working along NE MLK from NE Fremont to NE Alberta. We'll use the crosswalk at NE Alberta to cross to the west side then back to Irving Park.

Restrooms: Irving Park start and finish area.

Parking: Street parking.

Transit: Trimet bus lines nearby: #6/MLK and #8/NE 15th.

Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.

Participant Age Guidelines: Volunteers 17 and under must be accompanied by an authorized adult.
