Siletz River Cleanup
Join MidCoast Watersheds Council and partners for a day on the water removing trash during the Annual Siletz River Cleanup. This is a family-friendly event, with opportunities for trash pickup both by boat and by foot to support the health of this special river system. There will be free food and good times as we do our part to keep the beautiful Siletz River clean. Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.
Meeting Location: Volunteers will be meeting at tables set up in the grassy section of Hee Hee Illahee Park, Siletz, where they will check-in and sign safety waivers.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.
What's Provided: MidCoast will provide gloves and bags. We encourage participants to wear waterproof boots and dress in layers.
Restrooms: Restrooms available at the park.
Parking: Enter first driveway on East side of Hwy 229.
Transit: Not available nearby
Accessibility: This area may not be easily accessible for folks with mobility concerns.
Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
