Delitter Arbor Lodge - June 2024 Event

Join Delitter Arbor Lodge, SOLVE, and community members of the Arbor Lodge neighborhood for our litter pick-up event! This event is open to volunteers of all ages - everyone is welcome, and no experience is necessary. The family-friendly event is a great way to keep the neighborhood looking clean but also a fun way to connect with your neighbors in the community! As of April 2021, our volunteers have successfully removed over 4,214 lbs of litter from our community – thank you! Our June event will focus on the areas between N Lombard Street to N Rosa Parks Way & N Denver Avenue to N Montana Avenue.

Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: Meet at the southeast corner of the Fred Meyer parking lot (behind the garden center and electric vehicle charging stations) near N Buffalo Street & N Montana Avenue.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: Heavy-duty garbage bags, litter grabbers, safety vests, and disposable gloves are provided for all participants.

Restrooms: Fred Meyer restrooms are available to all volunteers during this event.

Parking: Parking is available in the Fred Meyer parking lot and along nearby streets.

Transit: The Max train and Trimet bus pick up and drop off in front of this Fred Meyer location.

Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
