Broughton Beach - Columbia Riverside Cleanup
Join SOLVE staff and volunteers to celebrate our annual Beach & Riverside Cleanup event by participating in a riverside cleanup at Broughton Beach in Northeast Portland on Satuday, September 28th. Help us collect all the pieces of trash small and large that have been left behind by visitors. This will be a family friendly event open to volunteers of all ages. Tell your neighbors, family, and friends to join as well. The more people that are able to join this project, the bigger the impact we can make. We hope to see you there!
Advanced Registration: Is required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.
Meeting Location: We will be meeting in the far east corner of the parking lot. Look for the SOLVE canopies and volunteers wearing high-vis vests.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.
What's Provided: SOLVE will provide all supplies for this event such as litter grabbers, bags, gloves, high-vis vests, etc. Please bring your own gloves, grabbers, or buckets if you have them.
Restrooms: There are public restrooms available at this location.
Parking: Metro has provided free parking passes for the first 40 cars. Parking is $5 if we run out of passes.
Transit: Trimet Bus line #70 's last stop is approximately a quarter mile away from the beach access point on NE 33rd within walking distance to the check in location.
Accessibility: This area may not be easily accessible for folks with mobility concerns.
Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
