Mary S Young State Park Habitat Restoration

December 7th event is a PLANTING. We will be placing over 800 native plants in the ground and need help. If you have time please join us. It takes a lot of volunteers to plant this number of plants.  Tools are provided. Work gloves and sturdy footwear recommended. Activities may include: removing invasive plants, mulching native plants, planting native shrubs and trees, and trail maintenance. We provide snack but recommend you bring a water bottle. Restrooms are on site.

Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: Volunteers will be meeting at the main parking lot near the shed. Look for the SOLVE signs. They will direct you to the correct spot.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.
