NWDA Third Saturday Cleanup

Welcome to the NWDA Third Saturday Cleanup, which picks up litter for an hour between 9-10 AM every third Saturday in the neighborhood north of Burnside at 22nd Avenue and has been for 12 years running, rain or shine! We'll provide the supplies, you provide the willlingness to help clean up Portland and make it a more livable place! We don't pick up sharps, cigarette butts, or large objects but any other litter is fair game. Families are welcome!

Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: We meet outside the Elephant's Deli on 22nd and Burnside.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: Gloves, bags, pickers, and vests will be provided to volunteers upon request

Restrooms: Bathroom inside the Elephant's is available to volunteers.

Parking: Parking is available across the street from Elephant's.

Transit: Bus 20 stop is a short walk away.

Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.

Participant Age Guidelines: Volunteers 13 and under must be accompanied by an authorized adult.
