Multnomah Neighborhood Association MLK Day clean up event

SW Barbur trash & Graffiti clean up event!
We will split up into smaller groups and take on sections of SW Barbur between Capitol Hwy (Walgreens) and Terwilliger (Fred Meyer) for trash removal.
Volunteers who wish to learn graffiti removal will be given an opportunity to learn small tag removal and likely be gifted a graffiti removal kit.
Advanced Registration: Is required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.
Meeting Location: Volunteers will meet at the A1 Muffler parking lot (yellow building on the corner). Look for the SOLVE signs.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.
What's Provided: We will provide safety vests, trash grabbers and bags, please bring your own gloves and wear comfortable close toed shoes.
Restrooms: No public restrooms are available
Parking: Parking is available at the site and for those who have a car and agree to take a particular "section" of SW Barbur, you may then drive to Fred Meyer Parking lot or Walgreens parking lot
Transit: Trimet Service Stop #208 is immediately in front of our event, cross streets are SW 30th Ave and SW Barbur, most often run bus is #12.
Accessibility: This area may not be easily accessible for folks with mobility concerns.
Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
