Sunnybrook Woods Clean Up

We invite you to help restore the beautiful 7-acre wooded area surrounding the Clackamas Education Service District Sunnybrook Campus. This natural space, located upslope from Mt. Scott Creek, is in need of some love and care to bring it back to its full potential. Thanks to the efforts of the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, the area has been cleared of camps. However, significant debris remains, and we need your help to clean it up. Additionally, English Ivy has taken over many of the trees, choking them and increasing the risk of fallen trees and fire hazards. By removing this invasive species and clearing the debris, we can help this forest thrive once again.

Advanced Registration: Is required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: Parking at Clackamas Education Service District - 13455 SE 97th Avenue. Look for the SOLVE Oregon signs.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: Work Gloves, Nitrile Gloves, Portable Restrooms/Hand Sanitizer, Water to refill jugs and Bottled water.

Restrooms: Portable Restrooms and handwashing station are planned to be in the parking lot for event volunteers. A staff member will remain nearby to assist with any questions.

Parking: Complimentary Parking at Clackamas Education Service District. Volunteers will walk about 100 yards to the entry point.

Transit: TriMet Route 156 serves SE 97th Avenue (Northbound and Southbound)

Accessibility: This area may not be easily accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will be a Spanish speaker present at this event.

Participant Age Guidelines: Recommended for Ages 13 and Up
