Peninsula Elementary Earth Day 2025

Peninsula Elementary School students and neighbors are invited to help pick up trash in the neighborhood and remove blackberry around our school yard perimeter.  This is our 4th Annual Earth Day event.  

Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: The playground is in the back of the school yard. There are entrance gates on N Halleck Street and in the employee parking lot on N Emerald Street. The entrance on N Emerald is flat to accommodate mobility concerns.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: This is a family-friendly community-friendly event. We will be picking up trash around the neighborhood and also working on blackberry removal around our schoolyard fence.

Restrooms: Restrooms will be available inside the school.

Parking: There is plenty of roadside parking on N. Halleck and N. Emerald. There is parking in the employee parking lot on Emerald.

Transit: The Trimet Bus- Route 4 and Route 35 are nearby on N. Willis.

Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
