Molalla River Spring Cleanup 2025

🌲Celebrating 32 Years of River Cleanups! 🌲
Join us as Molalla River Watch celebrates our 32nd year of river cleanups! Support the Molalla River, designated a State Scenic Waterway and National Wild and Scenic River, by removing garbage and performing other enhancement projects alongside other members of our community.
When: Saturday, April 12th, 2025 💧 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Where: 16185 S Feyrer Park Rd, Molalla, OR 97038
What to bring: Gloves, water, a snack, sturdy shoes and appropriate clothes for the weather
What to expect: Pre-registration through SOLVE is encouraged, but registration at the event will also be possible. We will meet at Feyrer Park for instructions and a safety talk. Volunteers will then disperse to the beautiful Molalla River Recreation Corridor accessed along S Molalla Forest Road and other public river access sites near Molalla. There will also be the opportunitity to perform some trail enhancement work on the Molalla River Corridor shared-use non-motorized trail system. This event will be assisted by a Bureau of Land Management staffmember to identify priority areas and tasks.
Following the cleanup, we'll host our Volunteer Appreciation BBQ back at Feyrer Park!

Molalla River Watch is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created in 1992 by a group of local citizens for the purpose of protecting, preserving, and restoring the flora, fauna and water quality of the Molalla River and its tributaries.
Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.
Meeting Location: Volunteers will be meeting at Feyrer Park's large picnic shelter area #2. Look for registration tables and we will give you a free parking permit.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.
What's Provided: Trash bags, disposable gloves, & a limited number of trash-grabbers. Sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer will be available. Refreshments at our Volunteer Appreciation BBQ will be provided in the afternoon following the cleanup.
Restrooms: Restroom with flush toilets at Feyrer Park. Vault toilets at Hardy Cr Trailhead and Ivor Davies.
Parking: No need to pay for parking. Volunteers can pick up a free parking pass at the cleanup registration table.
Transit: Not available nearby
Accessibility: This area may not be easily accessible for folks with mobility concerns.
Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
