Sauvie Island Beach Cleanup

Join us for an Earth Day celebration at one of Portland's most beloved and well-used beaches! We'll be cleaning up litter on Reeder Beach and the surrounding area in preparation for a fun summer at the Columbia River. 

Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: Reeder Beach on Sauvie Island (about half a mile before you reach Collins Beach on a google map). We'll position ourselves road-side with some balloons to clarify our meetup location.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: We'll be cleaning the beach and parking area

Restrooms: Porta-potties are available on site

Parking: Plenty of public parking

Transit: Not available nearby

Accessibility: This area may not be easily accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
