Earth Day Clean Up Event (UP Campus area)

University of Portland- lets keep our neighborhood clean! We will meet at the Slug Garden for this Earth Day event. Anyone who's anyone is welcome to join! We will fan out into the neighborhood and areas surrounding the university to pick up trash and litter. Please register for the event in advance so we know how many to expect. We hope to provide snacks for your hard work. 

Advanced Registration: Is required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: meet at the Student Led Unity Garden. There will be a SOLVE sign and table and tent.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: SOLVE will provide litter grabbers, vests, gloves, and bags.

Restrooms: Bathrooms will be available in the nearby Chiles Center.

Parking: Parking is available in the University main parking lot.

Transit: The 44 bus line drops off on Willamette close to the SLUG Garden (exit at the University of Portland or Wall Avenue stop)

Accessibility: This area may not be easily accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.

Participant Age Guidelines: Recommended for Ages 13 and Up
