Willamette National Forest Cleanup

ADDRESS LINK BELOW IS INACCURATE. Please use the coordinates provided in the flyer above. Brush Beaters Offroad along with US Forest Service are hosting a big cleanup. The plan is to cleanup an area of the Willamette National Forest near Detroit, Oregon. We have routes planned that will cleanup over 147 miles of road. Routes are planned for any type of vehicle (daily drivers to OHV only vehicles). Events begins at the McCoy Staging Area in Idanha at 8am. Groups will be released to cleanup the trails at 9am after safety briefing and sorting of people to the different routes/trails. Then regroup at the McCoy Staging Area by 4pm.

There will be raffles and giveaways as well (CASH ONLY).

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: We will supply some garbage grabbers and recycling bags (Volunteers that have and can bring their own are welcome to)

Restrooms: Public Restrooms will be available at McCoy Staging Area and at campgrounds along the trails.

Parking: McCoy Staging Area has gravel parking lot to start and end the cleanup event. The cleanup will occur along roads and trails.

Transit: Not available nearby

Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
