Hawthorne Blvd Litter Clean Up

Come out on Saturday, May 31st for a litter clean up on Southeast Hawthorne Blvd! Co-hosted by Way of Being and Revive Athletics, we'll provide the tools you need to help clean up litter in the neighborhood.

Receive a discount at certain participating businesses on Hawthorne for helping beautify the block!

We'll be ready to check you in starting at 10:30 am at Way of Being, 3418 SE Hawthorne Blvd. We ask that you return the supplies by 12:30, but beyond that, the clean up is self-paced. All ages welcome, but please know your family members and make sure they would be safe on a busy street like Hawthorne. Folks are welcome to go into the neighborhood as well for a more quiet clean-up experience.

Please bring your own mug for coffee or tea and we'll provide some breakfast snacks! See you there!

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: We will be providing grabbers and buckets for folks! If you have your own, you're welcome to bring them!

Restrooms: No public restrooms are available

Parking: Street parking on or around Hawthorne

Transit: TriMet Bus Route 14 drops off right next to Way of Being.

Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
