Invasive Species Removal - Carruthers Park

We will start at Carruthers Park, as we previously worked on this area, then if time permits, will work along the Waterfront Trail to remove (1) scotchbroom; (2) ivy; (3) blackberries; and (4) other.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.
What's Provided: We will have some tools, but please feel free to bring your own. Long pants and shirts are suggested, due to blackberries, and bring your own work gloves.
Restrooms: Public restrooms at the park
Parking: There is parking available, but if extra is needed, we can carpool from the Hammond Marina.
Transit: Not available nearby
Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.
Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
