Audrey McCall Beach Cleanup (5/31)

This is a general litter cleanup and maintenance event to get Audrey McCall beach ready for the summer! Audrey Mccall is one of Human Access Project's priority activations and we are hoping for a large community turnout to ensure it is clean and safe for summer use. Be sure to wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and bring sun protection as there is minimal shade on the beach. Optional: bring a swimsuit for a quick post-event dip and enjoy the fruits of your labor!
Advanced Registration: Is required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.
Meeting Location: Volunteers will meet in front of the Firestation 21 on 5 SE Madison at 10:00 AM and we will do a short walk to the beach clean-up location.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.
What's Provided: bags, trash grabbers, gloves, and rakes
Restrooms: No public restrooms are available
Parking: There is ample free parking adjacent to Firestation 21
Transit: Several bus lines stop near Firestation 21 including the 6--Martin Luther King Jr; 14--Hawthorne/Foster; and 15--Belmont/NW 23rd. If you will be arriving on bike you can access the location via the Eastbank Esplanade.
Accessibility: This area may not be easily accessible for folks with mobility concerns.
Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
Participant Age Guidelines: Recommended for Ages 13 and Up
