Broughton Beach - Columbia Riverside Cleanup
Join SOLVE at Broughton Beach for our annual Beach & Riverside Cleanup, part of a statewide effort to protect Oregon’s waterways. The event kicks off with check-in, supply distribution, and a safety speech before volunteers head out to remove litter along the shoreline. All supplies will be provided—just bring weather-appropriate clothing and your enthusiasm. This is a great way to care for the Columbia River and enjoy time outdoors. Families and groups welcome!
Advanced Registration: Is required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.
Meeting Location: We will be meeting in the far east corner of the parking lot. Look for the SOLVE signs and vehicle!

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.
What's Provided: SOLVE will provide all supplies for this event such as litter grabbers, bags, gloves, high-vis vests, etc. Please bring your own gloves, grabbers, or buckets if you have them.
Restrooms: There are public restrooms available at this location.
Parking: Metro has provided free parking passes for the first 40 cars. Parking is $5 if we run out of passes.
Transit: Trimet Bus line #70 's last stop is approximately a quarter mile away from the beach access point on NE 33rd within walking distance to the check in location.
Accessibility: This area may not be easily accessible for folks with mobility concerns.
Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
