Bradford Island Columbia Riverbank Cleanup at Bonneville Dam

Come join the US Army Corps of Engineers and SOLVE for the best Dam cleanup on the Columbia River. Help protect the Columbia River ecosystem by removing litter and debris from the shoreline and keeping our public lands beautiful. All supplies will be provided, but volunteers may bring their own gloves and tools if desired. Volunteers are advised to bring sturdy closed toed shoes, weather appropriate clothing, and water.

As a bonus for volunteers, stick around for a Ranger-led tour of Bonneville Dam after the cleanup, with the tour beginning at 12:00 PM.

Please note: the cleanup area includes rocky terrain and riprap, which may be unstable- this location may not be suitable for individuals with limited mobility.

Advanced Registration: Is required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: Bradford Island Recreation Area parking lot at the western tip of the Island. (end of road)

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

Restrooms: Vault toilets are available at the parking area and flush toilets at the opposite end of the island.

Accessibility: This area may not be easily accessible for folks with mobility concerns.
