Mill Park Community Cleanup

Help protect our local environment by participating in a litter clean-up along the beautiful Mill Park and surrounding neighborhood! Every piece of trash you pick up makes a difference in preserving the health of this vital ecosystem. Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned volunteer, we welcome all ages and skill levels.

Following the clean-up, the fun continues with activities! Whether you're a local or just passing through, this is a great opportunity for families to connect with nature and learn more about the watershed. From the Salmon Lifecycle Obstacle Course to building a pinecone birdfeeder, there’s something for everyone.

Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: Volunteers will meet at Mill Park and then fanning out for a dispersed litter cleanup. Look for the SOLVE signs.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: SOLVE will provide trash grabbers, trash bags, work gloves, and high-vis vests.

Restrooms: No public restrooms are available

Parking: There will be street parking available for vehicles. The neighborhood is pedestrian and bike friendly.

Transit: Take TriMet bus line 71 to SE Bell & Johnson Creek. Walk 8 minutes to the meeting location.

Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
