Alton Baker Park Clean-Up

Join us at Alton Baker Park on the first day of fall to help gather litter within the Whilamut Natural Area. Walk along the scenic trails in the park and spruce up the forest, prairie and riverfront beaches.

Advanced Registration: Is required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: 622 Day Island Rd. in Alton Baker Park, near the Community Garden and dog park.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: Trash bags and grabbers.

Restrooms: A restroom with flush toilet, sink, soap and warm water.

Parking: Park at the community garden immediately west of Nearby Nature. Drive past the disc golf course and ignore the road to the boat launch area.

Transit: A bus route stops on Country Club Rd at the west entrance to Alton Baker Park.

Accessibility: This area may not be easily accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.

Participant Age Guidelines: Recommended for Ages 13 and Up
