Willamette Valley Wheelers New Years Celebration Beach Cleanup at Goose Pasture

The Willamette Valley Wheelers Club is organizing a New Year's Beach Cleanup event, kicking off at the Goose Pasture Staging area in Florence. This annual event brings together members and volunteers to help maintain the pristine beauty of Oregon's coastline. Participants will gather at the Goose Pasture Staging area, known for its scenic views and easy access to the beach. From there, teams will fan out along the shore, equipped with gloves, bags, and other necessary tools to collect trash and debris that have accumulated over the past year. The club emphasizes the importance of community involvement in preserving the natural environment and sees this cleanup as a way to give back while enjoying the outdoors.
In addition to the cleanup efforts, the event offers a fantastic opportunity for camaraderie among club members and volunteers. After the beach cleanup, participants can look forward to a small celebration with refreshments and snacks, provided by the club. It's a chance to reflect on the accomplishments of the day and to make plans for future conservation activities. The Willamette Valley Wheelers Club takes pride in their commitment to environmental stewardship and encourages anyone interested in making a positive impact to join them at Goose Pasture Staging for a rewarding and impactful start to the New Year.
