Beach Elementary Community Care Day

Come and be part of our Community Care event, where we'll engage in a collective effort to clean up litter around the school and spruce things up for the students’ return! This will be a fun opportunity for community members, students, parents, and faculty to join together to make the campus and surrounding areas look great before the start of the next school year. Community Care is a family friendly event open to volunteers of all ages. Please bring your gardening gloves, tools, water bottles and good vibes. We look forward to seeing you there!

Advanced Registration: Is not required. Please sign up (green button below).

Meeting Location: Volunteers will meet at the front of the school.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.

What's Provided: Portland Public Schools will provide: An unlocked school dumpster to dispose of litter collected A drop-box for all yard debris removed 5 cubic yards of mulch

Restrooms: The school's restrooms will be available.

Parking: There is a parking lot to the west of the school.

Transit: The Max runs along Interstate, which is close to the school.

Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.

Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
